Born and raised in Detroit, Trevor Cleveland is no stranger to the importance of keeping America fueled.  Trevor joined the Atlas team about 6 months ago at the Taylor, Michigan headquarters as a Tankwagon Driver and is happy he switched to Atlas’ local routes after driving over the road.

“I just wanted to try something different and be different,” says Trevor.  “It’s like a family here.  Everyone works together and as a team.”

Trevor cites the various training methods as part of his success at Atlas.  “Everyone has their own way of learning,” says Trevor. “The drivers here know that and go out of their way to teach you a couple different ways to get a task done so that you can find the way that works best for you.”

Atlas makes sure every team member is knowledgeable and prepared before hitting the road.  The Atlas SEALs program is comprised of drivers who are highly skilled—the best in the industry.  The Atlas SEALs spend time in training and refresher courses that prepare them to train new drivers. Education doesn’t stop there though.  Monthly driver meetings are used to discuss the latest safety and training protocols.  Tuition reimbursement is also offered for those seeking further professional development.

Driving with Atlas offers quite a few perks including competitive pay, quarterly profit sharing, performance bonuses, great benefits, new trucks, local routes that get our drivers home daily, and the latest user-friendly technology.

Trevor’s favorite Atlas perk? “The gym is great after a long day on the road,” he says. “The equipment is all brand new.”
