In 2019, The Sam & Nada Simon Foundation merged with Atlas Cares. Together, they seek to be change makers in their communities. This is accomplished through the support of military and law enforcement personnel, as well as through youth empowerment initiatives.
Sam and Nada Simon, both Iraqi immigrants, are proud to give back to the country that provided them with such tremendous opportunity. They founded The Sam & Nada Simon Foundation in 2009 and enjoy getting personally involved with the organizations they support.
Sam and Nada are active volunteers and believe in personally getting involved in the organizations they support. They are deeply grateful to the U.S. military men and women who selflessly serve to protect our freedom. Together with Simon Group Holdings company leadership and the Atlas Cares employee team, they’ve hosted an annual Christmas celebration for military families, at Michigan’s Selfridge Air National Guard Base, since 2006.
The Simon’s believe that children are our future and are full of unlimited potential. Through educational and mentoring opportunities for children from disadvantaged communities, the Sam and Nada Simon Foundation aims to open doors to those who face challenges due to poverty, disability or lack of a support system.
• Direct support
• Create opportunities
• Build community
It is our intent that the foundation directly impact those in need. We do this by opening doors for those in disadvantaged neighborhoods and through community building.
