While companies across the country scramble to recruit CDL A and B drivers, you may be wondering why the industry’s best CDL A and B drivers choose to make Atlas Oil home.

With best in class benefits, pay, and added perks—like a profit sharing program, 401k match, new equipment, tuition reimbursement, and even a company gym in some locations—it’s clear that Atlas listens to the needs of our team. This is key to understanding what our drivers on the frontline do every day.  Atlas takes the time to invest in our team members and continues to lead the charge in leveraging new technology.  These investments assist our team and maximize our speed to market.

At Atlas, safety is paramount. We develop specific programs that improve the safety of our team and the communities where we work. Each of our drivers completes a complete pre- and post-check on every trip to make sure our equipment continues to meet the high standards of Atlas.  Every month, each vehicle in the fleet is “gate-checked” (audited) to ensure that they are mechanically sound and have all the necessary paperwork and equipment to be in compliance. Monthly safety meetings give our team the chance to learn about the latest company initiatives and regulatory requirements and discuss their ideas with company leadership.

Our Atlas SEALs program (Safe Educated Atlas Leaders) is comprised of highly skilled drivers who train our new drivers, certify our existing drivers, and ensure everyone is prepared to represent Atlas in the field.

If you think you have what it takes to be a part of the A Team, take a moment to make sure you meet our requirements. The products we handle require extreme precision and care, so we like to ensure that we are hiring the best drivers in the industry. That’s why we require all our drivers to come on board, not only with a minimum of 2 years CMV driving experience but with verifiable tanker experience as well.  Additionally, all our drivers must be at least 23 years old to meet the CDL age requirement and hold both a Tanker and HazMat endorsement on their license.

Though there are several steps on the way to becoming an Atlas driver, rest assured that becoming a part of the A Team is well worth the required training and certifications.  Atlas is doubling our team in 2018 throughout our nationwide terminals.
