Grand Opening Event and Winner of Free Gas for a Year!

In celebration of Atlas' 25th Anniversary and new ownership of a local retail gas station, Atlas held a promotion at the newly owned and operated Marathon station located on the corner of 12 mile and Orchard Lake Rd. A special gas price of $1.20 was offered for a two hour time period along with prizes and fun. Radio station 93.1 Doug FM was on site to help promote the event and join in the festivities. Over 500 vehicles took advantage of the discounted gas for the two hour period.

Marvin Clark of Canton, MI. is the lucky winner of a Year of Free Gas sponsored by Atlas. Clark entered to win at the Marathon Grand Opening event on Thursday, October 14th. "I didn't think I had a chance of winning, I was happy with gas priced at $1.20 a gallon said, Clark." Clark received $2,500 in Marathon gas cards which can be used at any Marathon gas station for fuel purchases. "Winning free gas for a year is truly a blessing and will be extremely helpful for me."

Atlas Oil Company Hosts Hyundai $1.49 Fuel Fill Up Promotion

Taylor, Michigan- July 6, 2009 — Heading into the July 4th holiday weekend, one of the busiest travel weeks of the summer, Atlas Oil Company was pleased to support automaker Hyundai by hosting its $1.49 Hyundai Fuel Fill Up event, a one-day promotion in the country's three largest cities (Los Angeles, Chicago and New York) where the general public was able to purchase gas at $1.49 per gallon between Noon – 2 p.m. local time.

This Chicago event took place on July 1st, at the Atlas-owned BP gas station in Hickory Hills, IL, with 474 consumers taking advantage of the special fuel pricing promotion during which more than 6500 gallons of fuel were discounted. The event was supported with a major radio advertising campaign and covered by numerous broadcast outlets.

"We're very glad to have partnered with Atlas on this promotion," said James "Jim" Trainor, National Manager of Product Public Relations for Hyundai Motor America. "We were looking for a partner with state-of-the-art facilities, impeccably trained team members, and the experience to support such an important event, and Atlas Oil Company provided us with all three."

With gas prices pushing $3 per gallon during peak summer travel months, Hyundai introduced its Hyundai Assurance Gas Lock, a program that guarantees consumers a year worth of gas at $1.49 per gallon on most Hyundai models leased or purchased between July 1 and August 31, 2009.

Take A Free Ride!

Our exciting Take A Free Ride Grand Prize Drawing Reception was held in Sept, 2007. After an 8 week promotion and thousands of entries at about 46 participating Clark Brand gas station locations, we eight finalists. Our finalists, Atlas Oil Company, Clark Brands, Al Long Ford, and Clark Brand gas station team members all arrived at Al long Ford (Warren) to the tune of Take a Free Ride. Refreshments were served, a few speeches were made and our contest began.

Contest:
Our eight finalists each selected a number. Each finalist was then asked to select a loot bag (containing cool partner gifts!) in the order of their previously selected number. Each loot bag contained a key. And, one lucky person selected the one loot bag that had the one key that opened the Ford Taurus door who became our Grand Prize Winner!!!

Our grand prize winner received the following:

Atlas Scratch & Win!

Throughout the summer of 2007 the Atlas Oil Company Sports Mustang, cruised between our dealers locations. This included receiving the Key to the City from the Mayor of South Bend, Indiana and being driven around the warning track bases at the July 4th South Bend Silver Hawks baseball game. Atlas Scratch & Win!, was kicked off in June 2007 in front of hundreds of Atlas team members, dealers, vendors and South Bend officials, at a Atlas sponsored Golf Charity Scramble & Pig Roast Event.

One fortunate soul scratched, squealed and wheeled away in a legendary redesigned 2007 Ford Mustang. Atlas had over 1 million Mustang scratch win game tickets created, to be given out with fill-ups at our 95 dealer locations. Under a golden scratch off area, Atlas gave our dealers customers a chance to find one of two hundred pictures of Mustang keys. The lucky customer drove the Mustang right off from a crowd of hundreds of Indiana dealers, customers, contestants and on-lookers.
