
Don Wright – Chief Information Officer
Don Wright is Chief Information Officer at Atlas Oil Company. Wright joined Atlas in February 2010. He is responsible for the Information Technology application portfolio and infrastructure at Atlas, as well as supporting mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Wright’s business career spans 25 years. He was most recently Chief Information Officer for North America at Continental Automotive, a $20+ billion, tier-one automotive supplier headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany. Prior to joining Continental Automotive, Wright held a number of executive leadership positions with Philips Electronics. While at Philips Electronics and Continental Automotive, Wright managed a number of multi-billion dollar mergers and divestures for North America. For the past eight years, Wright has focused on developing strong IT organizations that provide businesses with IT solutions that create a long term competitive advantage within their markets.
Wright attended Ohio Northern University and graduated with a B.S.B.A/B.A. and received an M.B.A from Auburn University. While at Philips Electronic, Wright also attended Philips Electronics’ International Management Development program. Wright enjoys guest lecturing at business schools on IT related topics.
Shawn Ryan – Vice President of Operations
Shawn Ryan is Vice President of Operations for Atlas Oil Company and is responsible for overseeing facilities and operations in Taylor, MI, Niles, MI and Hammond, IN, including our fleet of transport and tankwagon trucks and all fuel deliveries made by Atlas drivers. In addition, he is responsible for 24/7 customer service operations.
Ryan joined Atlas in April of 2010 from Tefen Management Consulting, where he was director of life sciences and supply chain. Before that, he was director of operations at AT Kearney MRO where he was responsible for indirect material delivery and distribution for 10 powertrain facilities in the U.S. He also worked for General Motors in warehouse operations and internal logistics prior to AT Kearney.
Ryan received a MBA in strategy and economics from Ellis NYIT and a bachelor's in business administration from UW Madison. He is a member of the Michigan Lean Consortium and the American Society of Quality.
